The Project Contracts Manager will report directly to the Sr. Contracts Manager and will be embedded within the business supporting operations and project management teams on project contract matters. The position will lead the contract and change management effort for the prime contract, and support procurement and subcontracts throughout the project execution phase (i.e. project kick-off through project close-out) in accordance with the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Procedures Manual (PPM).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides operational decision making and other technical guidance to project teams and other personnel supporting contracts or claims activities/administration, as assigned, reporting directly to the Project Manager while receiving functional guidance from the Legal Department and the Senior Contracts Manager.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred. Risk Management, Business Administration, Legal or equivalent industry experience also considered.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret project and contract documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from project team members. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities are required. Strong written communication is required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to travel and potentially office at project sites when the need arises to engage with the project team for information gathering purposes; primarily domestic with the possibility of international travel may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasionally, will office at or participate in a field trip to an operating plant or construction site. This requires the ability to hear, as well as the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, clear close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal work environment will be a business office with moderate noise or an operating plant/construction site. This may require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, work near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles. Must meet customer/client’s site entry requirements, including background check, drug and alcohol screening.
