The successful candidate will provide onsite services associated with project closeout and utilization of the client’s Management of Change (MOC) work processes and procedures

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the client’s MOC protocol
  • Early MOC documentation development
  • Processing necessary documentation during lifecycle of projects
  • Obtaining signatures and approvals from stakeholders as required during project lifecycle
  • Closing MOCs at completion of projects
  • MOC management of multiple projects and at different phased of the project simultaneously

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to go into an operating area of the unit to assess project information.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork oriented.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Five years of on-site experience in a chemical, petrochemical or refinery facility
  • Experience with design, construction and technical reporting and documentation
  • Client focused
  • Committed to technical excellence
  • Refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industry experience preferred.
  • Registered Louisiana P.E. preferred. 

 

Occasionally may conduct or participate in a field trip to an operating plant or construction site to gather operating data and equipment information. This requires normal hearing, the ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance, clear close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.

 

All candidates must pass background checks, drug screening and qualify for issuance of TWIC credentials.
