SCOPE
Technical Services Specialist is a member of the Technical Services Department whose main responsibility is to function as a liaison between the Client, Engineering, and Construction Management. This position requires complete comprehension of the overall life cycle of a project and each construction phase from FEL-0 to startup.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of four (4) years technical experience in petrochemical, power generation or heavy industrial technology. Intermediate understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and 3D design review software.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION/TIME MANGEMENT SKILLS
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Working knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Intermediate understanding of coordinates and elevation calculations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb and balance. Vision must be clear at close and distance with depth perception and ability to focus.
25 lb. lifting requirement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Normal work environment will be a construction site within operating plants. This will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, work near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
